The list in there just doesn't do justice on how important a role Red Hat's Desktop team plays in advancement of the Free Software desktop and laptop experience. With recent hires like Matthew Garrett, Richard Hughes, and William Jon McCann, you know how serious we are about doing the Right Thing. I feel so privileged to be part of that.

Speaking of recent Red Hat hires, it's worth mentioning Lukáš Tinkl, KDE developer and translator, now comaintaining the KDE packages in Fedora. I also digged up an old interview (April 15, 2002).

I keep telling people that Red Hat is great. Still, most people don't wake up to that. I think it's lack of marketing, which I can't decide if it's a good thing or not 8-)
