ReplyDeleteYes, definitely. It's just that I've been busy building the infrastructure below and have not got to wire it up to pango yet.

Are they embedding HarfBuzz or linking against it? Embedded code copies makes me a sad panda.
ReplyDeleteThat's what Firefox always does, but in the future Linux distributions will compile it against system harfbuzz. The only reason that there is no system harfbuzz yet is that we are not 100% done with the API yet. Sometime before March we'll call it 1.0 and then install it as a system library to share.
